This classic mahogany finish fireplace features three open shelves on top for electronics and game consoles. Two additional, open shelves on each side provide storage for movies, games, and books or can be used to display your favorite treasures. The top center shelf measures 27.5-inch wide by 16-inch deep by 9-inch high, with a 23.5-inch opening. The top side shelves measure 10-inch wide by 14-inch deep by 9-inch high, with a 8-inch wide opening. The lower side shelves measure 10-inch wide by 14-inch deep by 8-inch high, with a 8-inch wide opening. The base of the fireplace measures 3-inch high. The sections are split by gorgeous, carved columns with classic, squared bases. The center section of this media fireplace extends an-inch beyond the side sections giving the fireplace both focus and depth. The electric fireplace insert requires no permanent wiring or ventilation – simply plug it into any wall outlet with a 6-feet cord. The electric insert features realistic flickering flames and glowing embers (LED lights) – brightness of each can be adjusted with a simple push of a button on the remote. In addition to adjusting the thermostat, the electric fireplace also offers the option of using with or without heat for year-round enjoyment. Tested to heat 1500 cubic feet in only 24 minutes (14’x14’x8′).
