Basically the Chromecast allows you to watch content streaming on the web from your TV but your device/computer grabs the signal from your router (the web) and sends the signal to your TV.

The Chromecast Dongle also allows you to stream from your Chrome browser on your computer. If you don’t have a smart device and just a computer you can still use the Chromecast.

The Chromecast plugs into the HDMI port of your TV and is powered by a USB cable which should come included with the unit. You can control your Chromecast with your smartphone/device or your computer via remote control.

Is there a monthly fee for using Chromecast? No monthly fees are needed when using Chromecast.

How Do I Use Google Chromecast? 1. Plug Chromecast into your TV, then plug in the USB power into the Chromecast. Make sure you use the provided power adapter or use a USB on the TV. 2. Enable Chromecast and mobile device on the same network. 3. Download the Google Home App. 4. Setup Chromecast 5. Cast Content

The channels listed above are basically Apps. You download them as apps and play them from your device to your Chromecast to your TV.

Chromecast Audio

Chromecast can also be used to serve audio. If you like your music and have an older receiver your chromecast audio can grab music from the web just like it does for your TV. Instead of utilizing the HDMI input on your TV the chromecast audio utilizes a 3.5mm plug for those devices not capable of connecting to the internet.

We hope this helped. Good Day.
